About Siding

Siding is the face the house shows the street. Board-and-batten, lap and other profiles each need different detailing at corners, windows and trim, which is what makes a new elevation look finished.

We install and replace siding, repair sections that can be matched, and finish the trim. The project is the wall itself: the profile, the color and the corners.

What is included

Built for Houston

An elevation, not just a wall covering.

A siding project in Houston is usually about how the house reads from the curb: board-and-batten on a newer Cinco Ranch or Woodlands elevation, or a matched repair on an older Memorial exterior that only needs a section.

We detail corners, soffits and window trim so the new work looks deliberate. South and west walls fade faster here, so a repair is matched to the boards that are on the house now.

  • 01

    Full replacement

Profile, color and trim are chosen together, then installed so corners, windows and soffits finish cleanly.

  • 02

    A section that matches

Sun-faded walls are matched to what is there, not to the original chip. We say when a patch will blend and when the wall wants more.

  • 03

    Color on the elevation

The new boards and the trim are finished together, so the wall reads as one elevation rather than a patch of a different shade.

How it goes

What to expect, step by step.

  1. 01

    Consult

We come to you, look closely, and listen. A walkthrough of the space, measurements, an inspection of what is behind the surfaces, and a conversation about what you want and what is realistic.

  2. 02

    Plan

Materials and budget, settled before work begins. We help you choose materials and finishes, review the budget together, and define the scope so there are few surprises later.

  3. 03

    Prepare

The work you never see, done properly. Protecting your home, then demolition or surface, subfloor and site preparation, because good finishes depend on what is underneath.

  4. 04

    Build

Skilled hands on the actual work. Installation or restoration carried out by our team, with one point of contact for questions along the way.

  5. 05

    Finish

Details, checked twice. Sealing, trim, grout, touch-ups and quality checks, so the small things look as good as the big ones.

  6. 06

    Walk through

We clean up, then we walk it with you. A final cleanup and a walkthrough of the finished work, so you see it, question it and sign off with confidence.

Questions

Good to know.

Can you repair a section instead of replacing all the siding?

Often, yes. It depends on matching the material and the color after Houston sun has faded what is already on the house. We assess that before we recommend a full replacement.

Can a new siding profile change the elevation?

Yes. Board-and-batten, lap and other profiles, plus the trim at corners and windows, change how a Cinco Ranch, Woodlands or Memorial house reads from the curb.

What siding profiles do you install?

Board-and-batten, lap and other common profiles, including fiber cement and engineered wood. We talk through how each one finishes at corners, windows and soffits, and which one fits the house.

Can siding repairs be documented for insurance?

Yes. We photograph the damage and the completed repair. Your insurer decides coverage.
